Palm Springs Yacht Club

We believe in the American country club experience: mixed doubles, a long steam, and a stiff cocktail.
We believe in inner beauty. But, do what you can on the outside. We believe in old-world etiquette and new age simplicity. We believe you can swim right after you eat.We believe we should trust those seeking enlightenment and doubt those who claim to have found it.We believe the earth is three-quarters water, and your body is three-quarters water, and… this is purely coincidence. We believe in good sport as well as fitness: Pétanque and Pastis, Pimms Cup and Croquet, Snooker and single malt whiskey.

This is the place to be in Palm Springs. Missing friends out that way, and wishing I was laying by a pool – at the Parker House, the Viceroy, the Colony Palms or in their back yard for that matter – The Parker is really a cool, chic place to disappear and chill out. fashionistas and hipsters from LA and all over spend a weekend here to relax, rejuvenate, and do a bit of partying too. The place has a mid-century meets 70’s vibe and its stylish and super chill at the same time, but when you enter the Spa (Palm Springs Yacht Club – aka PSYC) you know you have really arrived! I love the old school glamour of the foyer, the nautical influence is a cool relief from the desert sun and feels literally like an oasis. Looking for a low key place to get some R&R and maybe flaunt your abs poolside? … The Paker is the place for you.
