Now this is how you do tonal.  Far from boring, this patternless room is sophisticated and chic.  The gray and blue are warmed by the creams and tans.  The lack of prints in this rom allow the beautiful shapes of the furniture and case-goods to really shine.    I love the strong symmetry of the tables and lamps flanking the sofa, such a strong focal point.

I don’t think it’s the same house, but this kitchen follows the same rules and as the living room above.  Soft grays and tans mix with blues and creams for a beautiful, soft color palette.  Love the kitchen table, coffered ceiling, and dove gray island.  I’m not typically a big fan of tile floors but i think it really works in this pretty kitchen, light and bright!

Thick poured concrete countertops don’t look cold or industrial at all in this rich warm taupe, love the rope knob and easy styling.  In bathrooms keep it simple, powder rooms can’t get a bit more attention but everyone appreciates a clean bright and uncluttered bathroom.  If it’s a guest bath make sure there is room for a make-up bag/shaving bag and all the little extras guests might need (soap, tissues, q-tips, bottled water, etc).
