More Halloween Fun

October 17, 2011

The classy way to decorate for Halloween and/or Thanksgiving (although a carved pumpkin won’t last that long).  These are a nod to an old-fashioned lantern, perfect in a period home or one with olde timey character.  Try polka-dots in a contemporary house or any other pattern that strikes your fancy.  The beauty of this carving is that the skin is cut away but the flesh is not pierced through, it creates a beautiful warm glow.  Color variation with different thicknesses can be pretty.
