mth woodworks – furniture reinvented

July 24, 2011

The modern beach house I’ve been yammering on about for the last few months really really needs one of these between the long low sofas by Thomas O’brien for Hickory Chair.  It’s art and function all rolled into one and the rustic modern mix is the perfect fit.  The new bloomX table collection from Vancouver based, mth woodworks features salvaged birch branches inlaid in an organic resin top – revealing their natural beauty in a most sophisticated way. The collection consists of a side table and coffee table with custom shapes, sizes, bases and colours available by request.
Michael Thomas Host and Tanja Hinder are the creative force behind mth woodworks. Their mission is to connect people with the beauty of the west coast and what they call the bloom collection does exactly that! The seamless fusion of our organic resin, salvaged stumps and branches bring a unique and functional element to the table, literally.  mth woodworks – furniture re-invented.
