Outdoor Furniture via Remodelista

May 10, 2011

You know how I roll… Happy to repost a blog vs writing and sourcing my own material when the subject matter is worthy and if it sums up everything I have to say on the matter, why not?  Here is a recent blog from one of my favorite sites Remodelista.

This year’s outdoor furniture offerings are awash in bright colors; here’s a roundup of some favorite picks for the outdoor table.

Above: Made from recycled plastic Coke bottles, the 111 Navy Chair from Emeco is well suited for outdoor use and is available in six colors, including red, at Design Within Reach for $230.

Above: The classic French-made Fermob Luxembourg Stackable Side Chairs come in a large selection of colors, including Aniseed green (shown). Crafted of powder-coated aluminum, the chairs will not rust; $630 for a pair at French Bistro Furniture.

Above: Xtra Green Folding Chair in green powder-coated aluminum (also available in white and aluminum finishes); $54.95 at Crate & Barrel.

Above: Modeled after a Parisian bistro chair from the late 19th century, Conran’s Red Metal Folding Chair is made of red powder-coated galvanized steel and can be left outside permanently; $99 at Conran USA.

Above: Ikea’s new Roxo Chair is made of powder-coated steel and is available in blue, green, and white; $19.99.

Above: Designed by Jasper Morrison, the Magis Air Armchair is made of air molded polypropylene. Available in orange, sky blue, green, white, and gray ; $652 for a set of four ($163 a chair) at Velocity Art & Design.

Above: Chair 6 by Lebello features a woven seat/back and a stainless steel sledge base. Available in thirteen colors; $520 at YLIving.

Above: Duluth, Minnesota-based Loll Designs’ Cricket Chair is made from thick 100 percent recycled plastic. Available in eight colors with a solid back, a slotted back (shown), or with circles; $299 at YLiving.

  1. Remodeller Says:

    Way too simplistic.
