Jeff Leatham Again (see 01/01/2010)

January 6, 2011

He is famous for a reason.  His flowers and the color combinations and textures he creates with them are memorable.  I was just reading about Fair Isle sweaters and if they are in or out at GuiltMANual… the verdict was IN october through December, apparently Spring colored sweaters are appropriate in january… who knew?!  The point?  This dash of spring freshness is to help you get through the doldrums of winter – and we’ve only just entered into the official winter season – courtesy of Jeff Leatham, floral designer extraordinaire.  Jeff Leatham is the  Artistic Director of the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris, and has been creating a sensation with his floral designs since he first began working with flowers at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills in 1995. Voted Best Hotel Florist in Europe for three consecutive years, Jeff’s expertise continues to attract praise around the world. Leatham has been commissioned by design houses such as Alexander McQueen, Philip Tracy, Swarovski Crystal, Givenchy, and Burberry.

Jeff’s work is a combination of his love for flowers and his passion for design. His creations are bold statements, using shape, color and simplicity to produce a dramatic effect. Breathtaking and unforgettable, Jeff’s flowers and design essentials are always integral to the setting, never merely a backdrop.  Leatham’s floral design clientele is as impressive as his work, including Tina Turner, Madonna, Kylie Minogue, His Holiness the Dalaï Lama, Suzy Menkès, and Bill Clinton. Jeff created exquisite decor for the wedding of Eva Longoria and Tony Parker in 2007 and the wedding of Flavio Briatore and Elisabetta Gregoraci in Rome, Italy in 2008.
